Robert Crandall — REMC Photography
I was born and raised in Kenora and have a great love for our beautiful city. I am an avid Lake of the Woods paddler, as kayaking and photography are my passions. Combining the two was a natural process. I have been taking photos since I can remember, and I’m always looking for a different approach to the subject I am shooting. I love our local landscapes and skies and I’m always amazed by the sunsets in this part of the world.
I have been fortunate to show my photographs at Sunset Gallery and at Locals Ink (Green Adventures storefront). My photos have also been chosen for the Thunder Bay phone book for the past two years.
My other hobbies include all human powered activities, such as skate skiing, as our lakes are frozen for half the year. The winter gives a whole different perspective and makes for some amazing shots.
I have worked in the forest industry for the last 30 years. I’m married with four children. My wife and kids share my love of nature and also enjoy kayaking alongside me.
